DECLARATION OF DIVIDEND FOR THE YEAR 2012

The Board of Directors of CRDB Bank Plc declares a dividend of TZS 12 per issued and fully paid up shares in line with the Bank’s Dividend Policy subject to obtaining approval from the Annual General Meeting of shareholders to be held on 11^th May 2013. Total dividend of TZS 26.1 billion will be paid out,higher than TZS 19.6 billion paid in year 2011 with percentage increase of 33% that makes Earnings per share 37.00, Price earning ratio 4.05 and Dividend yield of 8%.

The timetable for dividend payment approved by DSE shall be as follows:

Announcement of Dividend Payment:        4^th April, 2013

Trading of Shares Cum Dividend:              4^th April – 23^rd April, 2013

Trading of Shares Ex-Dividend:                 24^th April, 2013 onwards

Closure of the Members Register:               2^nd May, 2013

Re – Opening of the Register:                      3^rd May, 2013

Dividend Payment on / or about:                 17^th May, 2013

Dividend will be paid directly to shareholders bank accounts; through M-Pesa, Airtel Money and Tigo Pesa for those who have issued instructions; and through dividend cheques issued and payable at CRDB Bank Plc branches. Tanzania Posts Corporation will make the payment through Post Giro Services in areas where there is no branch of CRDB Bank Plc.

Shareholders are required to produce their identity cards and Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange depository receipt for encashment of the cheques.

TAARIFA YA GAWIO KWA MWAKA 2012

Bodi ya Wakurugenzi ya Benki ya CRDB inatangaza gawio la shilingi 12 kwa kila hisa kufuatana na sera ya ulipaji gawio ya Benki. Gawio litalipwa baada ya kupata idhini ya Mkutano Mkuu wa wanahisa utakaofanyika tarehe 11 Mei 2013. Jumla ya gawio litakalolipwa ni shilingi bilioni 26.1, kubwa kuliko shilingi bilioni 19.6 lililolipwa mwaka 2011 ambalo ni ongezeko la asilimia 33.

Kutokana na taarifa hiyo, ratiba ya ulipwaji wa gawio itakuwa kama ifuatavyo:

Kutangaza ulipwaji wa Gawio:                   4 Aprili 2013

Ununuzi na Uuzaji wa hisa pamoja na gawio (Cum Dividend):   4 Aprili – 23 Aprili, 2013

Ununuzi na Uuzaji wa hisa bila gawio (Ex-Dividend):                  24 Aprili, 2013 na kuendelea

Kufungwa kwa Daftari la wanahisa (Register closure):                2 Mei, 2013

Kufungua Daftari la wanahisa (Re – Opening of the Register):    3 Mei, 2013

Kulipwa kwa Gawio (Dividend payment date):                               17 Mei, 2013

Gawio litalipwa kupitia kwenye akaunti za Benki kwa wanahisa walioelekeza walipwe kwa njia hiyo au kwa njia ya hundi ambazo zitatumwa kwa wanahisa na zinaweza kulipwa  katika tawi lolote la Benki ya CRDB. Kwa wanahisa walioko katika wilaya, kata na vijiji kusiko na matawi ya Benki ya CRDB hundi zao zitalipwa kupitia ofisi za Shirika la Posta Tanzania itakapopokelewa hundi.

Kwa utambulisho wanahisa wanaombwa kwenda na risiti zao (CDS) za umiliki wa hisa kutoka Soko la Hisa la Dar es Salaam au hati ya hisa (kwa wale ambao hawajapata CDS) na kitambulisho ili kuweza kulipwa gawio lao.
